本研究以椰子(Cocos nucifera L。)果肉组织为材料，应用改良CTAB法对不同成熟度的椰肉组织总RNA进行提取分析。结果表明：改良CTAB法能有效去除椰肉组织中不同种类杂质的干扰，从两种不同成熟度的椰肉组织中获得了高质量的总RNA；应用琼脂糖凝胶电泳检测得到两条清晰的谱带，分别为28S和18S。
4. From 2006 to 2008, the damage survey of Rhynchophorus ferrugineuswas conducted in many cities in Hainan. It was detected that there were 15 host plants for Rhynchophorus ferrugineus. And Cocos nucifera, Bismarckia nobilis, Phoenix roebeleni, Hyophorbe lagenicaulis were among the most common ones.
2006～2008年，累积多次在海南省多个县市开展实地调查，发现红棕象甲的寄主植物15种，常见受害寄主植物有椰子、霸王棕、美丽针葵、酒瓶椰子等，并对采集的红棕象甲虫源标本及为害特征进行观察。
