1. Philomachus pugnax belongs to Scolopacidae of Charadriiformes, it breeds in northern Eurasia, westwards to Britain, Norway and Sweden, northwards to Chukotskiy Peninsula, northeast of Siberia, southwards to Germany, Netherlands, Gilgis Plain of Central Asia and Altai, and winters in Africa, Southeast Asia and Australia.
流苏鹬属鸻形目鹬科。繁殖于欧亚大陆北部，西至英国、挪威、瑞典，往北到西伯利亚东北角的楚科奇半岛，南至德国、荷兰、中亚吉尔吉斯平原和阿尔泰山。越冬于非洲、东南亚和澳大利亚。
